The majority of the time, it’s not what is happening…it’s who I am being that makes the difference. QUESTION: If you weren’t stopped…what could you bring into existence that would make the difference for other people and yourself? I would love to hear you answers.
When you think life or someone else is responsible for how you are, expectations become premeditated resentments.
Be POWERFUL…with yourself. What do you think when you hear the word powerful? You can look at being powerful as having an influence on the world around you or exercising the influence you have on yourself.
In creating a belief system based on what has already happened, we run the risk of closing the door to new oportunities. We become fixated on, “this is the way it is” and “I am the way I am.”
Even though, we may not be able to alter situations and circumstances, we can consistently manage who we are in the face of adversity. There is always growth and development, with the “self”, if we look at who we are being first.
Write down those broken promises and clean up any wreckage that you have left behind. Remember, the overlooked wreckage is ONLY overlooked by you.
Regardless of what people may say, we all like to feel important enough to capture someone’s attention, if only for the moment. The difference between extraordinary customer service and great customer service can occur in our ability to be “PRESENT” with them.
