The Mindset Project: Don’t waste your days. You’ll never get the back!
Be Diligent…Love your life via passion and persistence.
What’s your passion? How much time do you spend doing what you love to do…80%, 50%, 20%, 3%? We all need to work, raise the kids, learn, tend to a business and take care of our relationships…We all have obligations and we enjoy putting in the work to get the result. But don’t forget to spend time doing what your passionate about. Why should you leave that out of the equation? You shouldn’t!!! Don’t waste your days…You’ll never get them back.
Doing what you love is the best way to take care of yourself. So…Do what you love to do!
Those who make Excuses…Need to be Excused!!!
Mindset for the day:
Be Opportunistic…Life has plenty of options.
Opportunity is everywhere! If you can’t find it, get off your butt and create it. Using today’s technology, you can reach masses of people in just a few seconds. That kind of reach hasn’t been this readily available in the history of mankind. If you can’t find some way, create an avenue or make a connection with someone who can…You’re simply an excuse maker. Here is what I say to all the excuse makers…”I hope you enjoy yourself!”
Today’s Action Step:
Reality check…You may not get everything you want, but you can get damn close. A young boy may not make it to the major leagues, but he can still play baseball. That’s how you have to look at life if you want to feel like it’s yours. I mean, you could look at life from behind the 8-ball, but what’s the point? Get out there and create the opportunity you want…The choice is yours!
Think…Act…and Act again and again until you get there!

Mindset for the day:
Be Memorable…Get their attention.
How many people do you see, hear and meet in one months time? More than you think, I can promise you that. Those people also see, hear and get to meet you! Do you leave a lasting impression on them? Is it a good or bad impression? In life, you’re either memorable or you aren’t! And…You control more of that than you probably think.
Today’s Action Step:
Get your act together! How do you want the world to see you? Upbeat? Friendly? Pissed off? You’d better figure it out and get into gear. Shakespeare said “All the worlds a stage…” and if you wake up, your on it! Being how you want to be and acting how you feel are often different, that’s a good thing too. Some days I don’t want to be friendly, but I am because that’s how I want to be known. Other times, I’m just tired and I feel like telling the world to take a hike, but I won’t because I’m in the people business and I want them to know I’m here to help. Differentiating what I do from how I feel is a very powerful practice. If you want to be memorable, in a good way, you’ll have to work at it. A reminder…There is nothing wrong with a little work!
